OMGGGG!! my pops recommended this book to me but he only had 2,4,6 & 7. So i didnt want to read them until i had the missing parts. IM GLAD I DID!! This book is stulid crazy good. I finished it in 5 hours and i regret reading it soooo fast. I would read it again!!

Urban fiction is the last on my genre list for a class Im taking. I was pumped to try it out, since I volunteer at a jail library, and urban fiction is a common request. The Cartel series is extremely popular, so I chose that one to read. I quickly realized I wasnt going to like it, but when I found it on audio through the digital library, I decided to stick with it. Cary Hite is a good reader, except for when hes trying to do accents (they all sounded Jamaican to me, whether it was someone from



The Cartel is a family that consists of drugs & violence but their bond is unbreakable. Carter Diamond is the most ruthles ganster of them of all. Resding in Miami, he is not unfamiliar with the crime that runs rapid around him but he is determined to keep his family save from harm. Very good read.. The story line was great! This book catches you at page 1 & is not one of those books that has to build up AT ALL!I have to say that I read this one along with the other 2 in about 2 days time... so, everything from the previous book was fresh in my mind when I read the next, and so on. With that being said there were several inconsistencies throughout the series that BOTHERED ME! Just kind of left me scratching my head wondering if the authors just forgot what they'd

**Review of the audiobook**STORYFacebook has been on my TBR for YEARS! With such high ratings, I went in expecting a lot and was shocked when early on and again several times later, I had to convince myself not to quit listening! I personally found this book to be painfully boring. Sure, there are drugs, shootings and sex, but most of it was predictable and there was nothing extraordinary about the storyline or the characters. Its just a classic organized crime story about people getting killed,

Terrible. I didn't like any of the characters. It was a stereotypical hood novel that lacked creativity. Nobody did research on the background of the Haitians or Caribbean cultures and speaking habits. The gangsters were idiots and the women were high yellow and into fashion and nonsense. It reads like something an 8th grader that just saw New Jack City would write. I want my money back
