Chronicle During Books Tales from a Not-So-Glam TV Star (Dork Diaries #7)
It’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid for girls in this hilarious novel!Everyone’s been rooting for me and my crush, Brandon—and now I can FINALLY write all about what did – or didn’t – happen with our first kiss!
Sighhhhh. There’s a LOT happening right now! A reality TV crew is following me and my friends as we record our hit song together, plus there are voice lessons, dance practice, and my little sister Brianna’s latest wacky hijinks (they NEVER end).
I’m sure I’ve got this…but I hope all of this excitement won’t cause new problems for me and Brandon…eek!!
The Dork Diaries series has more than 13 million copies in print worldwide!

In this book the main character, Nikki, gets a call from a famous reality tv manager who asks her and her band to schedule a meeting to talk about getting a gig at his show, after hearing them perform in stage in the previous book. Nikki and her best friends, Chloe and Zoey accept, but of course, Mackenzie, the mean girl, ruins everything for them. Mackenzie hates Nikki because Brandon, a guy who they both like, likes Nikki. While Nikki's sister, Brianna, annoys her to death.I think the themeThis book is like the part two of pop star in this series and its a chance for Nikki Maxwell to release a song Dorks rule while she has a reality tv show where she is followed every where every day , with her busy schedule, her relation with her crush Brandon and her enemy Mackenzie who is trying to ruin Nikkis life its really hard but in this story its a mixture of comedy romance and I love this book and the twist its always interesting , fun and I never get bored of this series love this boook
This review contains some important events in the story: Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So Glam TV StarI can't believe I am saying this but I think this is the worst book of the whole dork diaries in this series. I mean yeah I get this one goes with the third fabulous book in this series but c'mon, who would really get a TV show! I just thought Rachel focused herself on the TV show and I thought it should of been more on the school and test. I just thought the whole book was foul used on how the

Brandon's character was really bland in this book but young fourth grade me didn't even notice.
Let's just say I am a bit disappointed in this book/series.I was truly looking forward to it, but sadly it was not meant to be.Reasons why:1. Mackenzie, Mackenzie and more Mackenzie, it is one of the things that keeps coming back, rinse and repeating the same stuff over and over.2. Insecurity over Brandon, I wish she would just be honest with him, tell him how she feels. I am sure she can find a time for it (like when she chased away the camera crew). It just gets a bit annoying that every time
Summary: One morning Nikki Maxwell woke up and received a phone call. She thought it was her major crush Brandon who she had just went to the dance with the night before. When she looked at caller ID it was a famous singer Trevor Chase! He had asked if the Nikki and her friends Chloe and Zoey wanted to sing back up at his concert. Nikki agreed and then called her friends immediately. They all went to the concert the next night and saw one of their worst enemies Mackenzie Hollister. Mackenzie was
Dork Diaries are just cute little books. They aren't as good as Diary of A Wimpy Kid because I grew up with those, but these are still cute and fun reads. I think children 8 and up can enjoy these.
