it was okLoved the writing, lyrical at times, and the story, which is complex and well done. The missing star is for the feel of the characters. I love this show, I've watched it so many times that I know it by heart, so I had no problem imagining Sam, Dean, Castiel while reading, and I realize that this is a novel for fans of Supernatural, but I felt something was missing to make the characters who they truly are.
Not my favorite book in the series.

This deserves only 2 stars. HOWEVER, an extra star for some Castiel, some mention of the Sam-blood-addiction, and certainly for addressing Dean's trauma in Hell. Decent, but much too big an undertaking for something like this. Judas? The Civil War? Protectors of Hell's relics? Whatever. Always fun, but not one of the best.
This was pretty decent as far as Supernatural fanfic goes, but the boys were down on their luck a lot in this one. Dean would never let Baby get impounded by the cops.
Loved this book. While I don't want to give anything away, I will say that I wasn't expecting everything/one to turn out as they did. Also there is a scene where Castiel shows his abilities as an Angel of the Lord, and I must say it was spectacular!
The author apparently forgot that Sam is the one who always gets strangled in fights. I did like the connection to Judas, though. I wouldn't mind of he made an appearance on the show sometime.
