Suzanna's Surrender (The Calhouns #4)
I think Nora Roberts did it again. Mixed mystery with romance and came up with another good book. And just for a little while you are transported to the books location.
"Suzanna's Surrender" is the fourth book in the Calhoun series, and the story of Suzanna, the oldest of the sisters and Holt.We are already aware of the plot by now- the missing emeralds, the painful suicide, the legacy, and the HEA of the other three sisters. Now its Suzanna's turn..Suzanna has gone through a lot of pain in her short life- an abusive marriage and a tumultuous divorce have left her with two beautiful kids who are her everything. She isnt unhappy, but she isnt happy either- until

I have really enjoyed this series and felt I was there in the Tower by the sea with the waves hitting the rocks. If you love a good love story the complete series will not fail.
Nora Roberts Calhoun series. What can you say? Such a great writer. Roberts has phenomenal character development in her books that she could have many on-going series. Very much enjoyed the story line in this book with the turns that were taken. Looking forward to rest of series.
Not completely what I wanted it to be, but this read like a train and I could not put it down. Despite all the flaws with the actual romances (the last two were definitely my favourite), I really liked Bianca & Christian's story that was woven throughout the series.
Ah ha! I am very satisfied to see the conclusion was as I figured out throughout the series.

I know you should suspend belief somewhat while reading fictional books but the naivety and stupidity of the characters got to an overload point in this installment of the series. The con artist has broken into the home, attempted to harm multiple sisters, abducted Max to work for him then tried to kill him, etc etc yet they don't do decent back ground checks on the workers in their home is ridiculous. And to have private family conversations while the workers are around is ignorant as well.I think Nora Roberts did it again. Mixed mystery with romance and came up with another good book. And just for a little while you are transported to the books location.
