Description Supposing Books The Lost Girls of Rome (Marcus #1)

Same here. Just finished and not sure I got it all!So at last, I finally read his second novel and I must say that I did recognized his pen. Carrisi seems to enjoy confusing us to better surprise us. The POV alternate between different characters, including a corpse that wakes up every day wondering who he is. Marcus is a strange character, we feel that he has experienced a lot of things, that he is capable of violence and we're all the more surprised when we know what's his "job". Sandra, a young widow, is unable to recover from what she

I should start this review by saying that I was fortunate enough to receive a copy of this book through the Goodreads First Reads Giveaway program. Five months after the death of her husband, forensic photographer and police officer Sandra Vega begins to doubt that that his death was an accident. Following her intuition and a handful of clues, Sandra travels to Rome and becomes involved in the investigation of a serial killer in an attempt to uncover the truth.I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I've never read a book like this. We are introduced with Marcus, an amnesic who wakes up, in a hospital bed, with no clue who he is. He knows he's been kissed by a darkness, but he doesn't how and by who. The only thing he knows, it's that he's linked with the Vatican. Meanwhile in Rome, a serial killer is on the loose, kidnapping a young girl in her apartment. Sandra is a forensic expert, whose husband has died in a terrible 'accident'. After a weird phone call, telling her that her husband may
This is an excellent mystery that just keeps getting better the more you read. Mr. Carrisi outdoes Dan Brown with this Roman/Catholic puzzler. It is also a fun travelog of that city.I am looking forward to more from Italy.

And boy was THAT a good decision.Ok its tagged as Crime and
