Explanation Toward Books Eve of Chaos (Marked #3)
How do you tell Satan that you ran over his dog?
Evangeline Hollis has no idea, and she doesn’t want to find out. She’d rather forget the Infernal that nearly wiped out her training class and killed some of the best demonhunting Marks in the world. Living with the Mark of Cain—and the two sexy brothers who come with it—is trouble enough.
Satan has put a bounty on Eve’s head, and Hell’s denizens are converging on Southern California. The Infernals are complicating Eve’s hunts and creating chaos in her once orderly life. They’ve also brought her to the attention of an overzealous reverend who’s certain she’s Jezebel reincarnate.

Oooooooh, this series just keeps getting better!Following the major events of Eve of Destruction, our little Evangeline is left with a shit storm of problems to fight through. An archangel is missing, Alec isnt acting normal and Reed is there with arms wide open to console her. I would like to interject one small thought here: #TEAMCAIN!!!!! Like I said in my last review, I love Cain and Eve together and I hate the love triangle of Alec-Eve-Reed. I dont particularly like Reed. I like Alec. AEve Hollis is a Mark trying to cope with her lover Alec Cain's ascension to Archangel in Raguel absence. Eve knows that something isn't right with Alec but she's not sure what it is. Alec isn't even acting like himself which makes Eve certain that something is really wrong him: one minute he's kind and gentle and the next he's a complete asshole. Reed swears that this is normal behavior for Alec and doesn't share Eve's concern for his brother. It's been nearly two months since Raguel's
Loved this series, tore through it rather quickly. I give the whole series 5 stars - that said, I disliked the open ending.

What the heck?! You can't just finish a series like that! Who is it?! Agh!!!
What the HECK? There needs to be one more book for CLOSURE! It did not have the feeling of the final book. She did this with the crossfire series too.Way too open ended!
I have two complaints about this book. First, you can never take Harbor Blvd. to Brookhurst St. The two run parallel and you have to turn somewhere to get from one to the other. Second, the ending is far, far worse than a cliffhanger. It's an ambiguous ending. ARRRRGHHHH!!!!!!Other that those two flaws, the book was a worthy conclusion to the Marked series. It leaves a lot of room for a fourth volume though.
If you enjoyed Marks #1 & #2, this book won't disappoint
