Wow! I was hooked from page one!

READ THIS BOOK!!! Simply fantastic!! More stars please!! I rate this among one of the best books I have ever read. I'll give many, many books this rating, 'cos I've read many, many books and this is one book I've read many, many times. There is no higher praise I can give this book. Good one Mr. Katzenbach!!

It started out slow and almost boring, but then it gripped me, the suspense and terror caused by the killer .... The author added a lot of descriptions and drawn-out explanations that seemed unnecessary, but the overall story was suspenseful enough to keep me interested.

This is one of my all time favourite books along with "Impulse" by Michael Weaver. I read it every few years. This one keeps you on your toes from start to finish. You can smell the fear ...... and then you realise it's your own perspiration. The book is graphic and intense and winds its way around your mind as you try to go to sleep.One of my biggest hopes is that they do NOT make this into a movie. They made Just Cause by John Katzenbach into a movie and took it from being a scary, creepy and

Riveting readingThis novel really gets in the mind of the killer & gives the reader an insight into his reasoning. What a great read.

My friend, Jeanie, was appalled to learn I'd never read anything by John Katzenbach so I did. The Traveler is a really interesting book. It is quite gruesome and grizzly and scary. (It's the first time a book has ever given me nightmares and I've read some hard stuff.) The plot is compelling. The story is really two run in parallel - the protagonist's journey as well as the villan's. A really interesting read.
