Interpretation Concering Books I Like It Like That (Gossip Girl #5)
It's spring break and love is in the air. Or is that a blend of Chanel no. 9 and Gucci Rush? Is there a difference? Blair moves in with Serena and they're back to being best friends. But will the love-fest last or will they end up tearing out one anothers newly highlighted hair? And speaking of new, Nate is on the straight and narrow, playing Nate-in-shining-armor to his crazy new girlfriend, Georgie. But he will definitely get more than he bargained for when he, Georgie, Blair, and Serena end up hanging out together in Sun Valley, Idaho. Back in Manhattan, Jenny is spending time with a mysteriously nice new boyfriend and Dan is spending time crying in the office of the Red Letter literary journal. And Vanessa, wait, is that Vanessa shopping at Barneys with a guy in a Lacoste shirt? The long cold winter is over and the sun is finally shining along Fifth Avenue. The trees are in bloom and NYC's most fabulous are ready for a truly outrageous vacation!Rating Appertaining To Books I Like It Like That (Gossip Girl #5)

:((( A few of the characters started irritating me , namely Jenny, Dan and Nate. And I didn't like how Chuck became gay then was portrayed as a walking stereotype, also his character changed drastically just bc he started fooling around with other guys which is just unrealistic. Also didn't like Elise. The addition of Georgina was meh, she wasn't anything special. Characters I like: Blair, Serena, Vanessa, Erik and Leo. Aaron was redundant in this but I'm meh about him anyway. The story in thisFull review with spoilers hereWe join our fave Upper East Siders on Spring Break in this book. B has found a new love interest in S's brother Erik, S is dying for attention because everyone is looking at Blair for once, Nate is not enjoying his vacation with his new girlfriend as much as he thought, Jenny's new boyfriend is not who she once thought and Dan is continuing to be a really annoying "artist". All this and we still do not know if Blair got into Yale - on the bright side though, B
The first four in the series were total fluffy throwaway, mostly only interesting if you are a fan of the TV series and are curious to see how the show diverges from the books (spoiler - Chuck is recreationally gay!) But this book is just out-and-out boring. Blair likes Serena's brother - fizzles into nothing when she realizes she still loves Nate. Jenny has a mysterious boyfriend - turns out that the only thing interesting about him is that he is not rich.I had a hard time getting through this

I Like It Like ThatPLOT: Serena and Blair go on ANOTHER vacation. This time skiing, which Serena invites Blair to join her on because she doesn't want to go to Hawaii with her own family. (UM what's wrong with Hawaii?). Dan gets a job at the Red Room as a journalist's assistant. Basically, he's a "girl Friday" but he gets fed up with his shitty boss and after some rebellious attempts, he just quits. After being tempted with a little lock lip from one of Jenny's friends, he realizes he'd rather
I think that it was a pretty good book
In the book, I like it like that a Gossip girl novel, what kept me reading was the interesting, catty, back stapping, teenage stories. I picked this book because I started watching the series on TV. And it got me interested and I wanted to see the differences. The portion of the book that was my favorite was the part where Jordy and Vanessa were on a date. The book interested me with the sneaky, evil planning, and back stapping things girls do behind even their own friends backs. This book made
