Representaion Conducive To Books Vaderwraak (Ewert Grens #1)

Write Up About Books Vaderwraak (Ewert Grens #1)
"Publisher's Note: This book portrays sexual violence involving minors."And it certainly does. I never have a hard time reading graphic material. It truly doesn't bother me and I get fascinated with how certain ideas are brought to a page by an author - especially when they go into a gruesome, almost disgusting light. Pedophilia is never an easy subject to talk about, discuss or read about. And this book is consumed in it. Thankfully I don't have any children, which probably makes this an easier

Thanks to Quercus for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!I feel that I need to include the same disclaimer that my partner reader, Chandra, did. "Publisher's Note: This book portrays sexual violence involving minors." So if this is a topic you with to avoid, then I would recommend steering away from PEN 33. However, if you want a murder mystery with some cringe-worthy elements, then this might be right up your alley!Bernt Lund has a sickness. To say the least, he is an evil and

Trying to write a proper review, but i have no words.. not yet... too shaken.

Bernt Lund is a very messed up pedophile. After two girls are kidnapped, abused, and killed he is caught and taken to prison. While being transported he escapes. DCI Ewert Grens and his partner have been assigned to this case. They start looking out for Lund around schools and such but they miss him and he gets his hands on another little girl. Her father is beside himself and decides to take the law in his own hands. This is an over simple review of the events of this story but trust me, there

Roslund and Hellström were an interesting pair of Swedish writers. Roslund, a long-time journalist, met Hellström when the latter was a druggie. They formed a writing team and Pen 33 was their first collaborative effort. (Hellström died of cancer in 2017.) It is a chiller, indeed. Some may prefer not to read this since the basis of the entire story is sexual perversion and the murder of young girls. Bernt Lund is the pervert who preys on grade school girls of a specific type. They should be

3.5. This book was not what I was expecting. There is a murder mystery aspect to it but it's more about what happens when people take justice into their own hands. I find myself conflicted on the subject. If someone I loved was the victim of a brutal crime I would want to exact my own justice. But as this book shows you, rumors and enticing others to act when the whole story is not know can have devastating effects. There are some REALLY graphic parts but they did not dominate the story.

I must do a warning before I do my review. THIS BOOK IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST GRAPHIC NORDIC MYSTERIES I HAVE EVER READ...and I read alot of them. It is not for the faint of heart. That aside, it is one of the best nordic mysteries I have ever read. Heartbreaking with the subject matter, the book sucked me in from page 1 and didn't let go. Def. this is a new Nordic author, that I love and will continue to follow. One complaint that I do have that really doesn't involve the author but more the
